Virtual Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”

In this month’s teacher’s newsletter we are highlighting one of our very own Ambassadors! Pima Community College, Theatre teacher, Chris Will, would love to bring a field trip of Shakespeare’s work into your classroom this spring.

“How far that little candle throws his beams!”

What a great quote from Shakespeare’s play The Merchant of Venice. As we enter another semester of teaching during these uncertain times, it may seem that we don’t have much of a candle left. Pima Community College’s Theater department wants to help. This spring we will be producing a 30 min version of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and we are in search of a virtual audience for our production. This production will have multiple options of performance with an all-female cast, all-male cast, multi language cast, and a puppet cast. We would be able to zoom into your class room live or have a pre-recorded performance for you and your class to watch at your convenience.
