Nature in Your Neighborhood (K-8th)
Discover Sonoran Desert wildlife through a standards-based exploration field trip in the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area or at your location featuring three interactive STEAM stations:

– Guided Nature Outing- Learn how to use binoculars and how to use observation skills to find evidence of wildlife around the center.

– Mammals of Arizona- Students learn about the mammals of Arizona through exploring their pelts and skulls. They will learn how to identify what they eat and what their habits are by their teeth and eyes.

– Science & Art Collide- Create nature journals and make a sound map.
