Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson Museum
If you’re in the Phoenix area, make sure to visit the Buddy Stubbs Historical Motorcycle Museum located at Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson, 13850 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix. There you’ll find 3,000 square feet of motorcycle history featuring more than 130 rare machines from 37 different manufacturers. More than 110 years of history are showcased with rare bikes from 1903 through today on permanent display.

Penske Racing Museum
The Penske Racing Museum showcases an amazing collection of cars, trophies and racing memorabilia chronicling the career of one of the most successful dynasties in all of sports. Team Penske has over 50 years of racing experience and over 600 major race wins highlighted by 20 Indianapolis 500-mile race victories. On display in the museum are cars detailing the diversity of Team Penske including a 2015 Ford Fusion driven to victory at the Daytona 500 by Joey Logano. Additionally, a number of Indianapolis 500-mile race winners are on display including the 1979 Penske PC 6 driven by Rick Mears to win his 1st of 4 Indy 500’s.

The initial home (and jail) of the Phoenix Police Department, then referred to as city marshals, and the place where Ernesto Miranda, the suspect in the case behind the Miranda Rights, wrote his noteworthy confession.

Phoenix Trolley Museum
The Phoenix Trolley Museum, incorporated as the Arizona Street Railway Museum, is a railway museum established in 1975, with an emphasis on preserving historical street cars in Phoenix.

Shemer Art Center
The Shemer Art Center is a true “home for the arts.” It is also one of the City of Phoenix’s Points of Pride. In 1992, the Phoenix Pride Commission asked Phoenix residents to name places that make Phoenix unique. Over 10,000 postcards, listing approximately 150 locations, were received during the initial campaign. From the 40 sites receiving the most votes, the first 25 Points of Pride, including the Shemer Art Center, were selected.

Historic Saguaro Ranch
Preserving one of the Valley’s oldest and most magnificent ranches, the 17-acre Historic Sahuaro Ranch features historic buildings, a rose garden, barnyard and orchards. Listed on the National Register of Historical Places and known as the “Showplace of the Valley,” the Historic Sahuaro Ranch offers activities, exhibits and guided tours—keeping the history of early settlement in the Valley alive. Their mission is to preserve a historic site where the community participates in the ongoing development of educational and social experiences that connect Glendale residents and visitors to the past and to each other.

Mesa Contemporary Arts (MCA) Museum is a visual arts exhibition space committed to the presentation, interpretation, collection, documentation and preservation of contemporary visual arts with a special focus on traditional media. Chandler Museum + McCullough-Price House
The Chandler Museum is an interdisciplinary learning environment where the community comes together to share its stories, preserve its cultural heritage and experience Chandler as a people and place. The vision of the Museum is to be the community’s principal resource to explore its people’s history, culture, and their place in the rapidly changing world of today. Recent renovations to the historic McCullough-Price House house resulted in a formal state-of-the-art research and archive site for the Museum while maintaining its status on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tumbleweed Ranch
Tumbleweed Ranch, operated by Chandler Museum, explores Chandler’s agricultural roots. Beginning in the 1890s, cotton, dairy, sheep, citrus, alfalfa, sugar beets, and other agricultural pursuits shaped our community. In 1999, a portion of Tumbleweed Park was preserved in order to tell the story of the East Valley’s agricultural history.
The 14 acres of Tumbleweed Ranch serve as a location for school field trips, the Ostrich Festival, Chandler High School Future Farmers of America, and the Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off. Features of the Ranch include the McCroskey House, Edwards House, Red Shed Theater, an early 1900s grocery store, FFA demonstration fields, and antique agricultural equipment.

ASU Art Museum
ASU Art Museum centers art and artists in the service of community well-being and social good. The Museum is a learning-centered teaching institution, providing interdisciplinary learning opportunities for students from across the university ranging from the sciences, humanities, journalism, sociology and schools of arts and design. Gallery at Tempe Center for the Arts
The Gallery at TCA provides visitors a space for thoughtful and engaging art experiences. FREE admission, tours and outreach programs are available year-round. Since opening in 2007, the Gallery at TCA has produced more than 160 large and small-scale art exhibitions and featured more than 2,500 local and national artists. Center for Creative Photography
The Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona, is recognized as one of the world’s finest academic art museums and study centers for the history of photography. The Center opened in 1975, following a meeting between the University President John Schaefer and Ansel Adams. Beginning with the archives of five living master photographers—Ansel Adams, Wynn Bullock, Harry Callahan, Aaron Siskind, and Frederick Sommer—the collection has grown to include 270 archival collections. Among these are some of the most recognizable names in 20th century North American photography: W. Eugene Smith, Lola Álvarez Bravo, Edward Weston, and Garry Winogrand. The Center’s mission is to bring new and deeper meaning to the ever-changing and experimental field of photography through building, preserving, and sharing their unparalleled collection of archives and photographs. Southern Arizona Transportation Museum

Pimeria Alta Museum
The Pimeria Alta Museum provides information on the history of the Pimeria Alta region and welcomes visitors to the Arizona-Sonora border. Visitors can view rotating historical displays of the region, enjoy three rare murals by renowned bull fighter and artist Salvador Corona, and tour the old jail cells. Also on display is the hand drawn and operated pumper fire truck known as, “Able and Willing” and an extensive photography display on Camp Little, home of the Buffalo Soldiers.

Willow Bend Environmental Conservation Center
Since 1975, Willow Bend has been committed to providing educational outreach that fosters environmental awareness and encourages responsible stewardship of Arizona’s natural and cultural resources. The gardens, ramada, outdoor classroom, and interpretive displays are free and open anytime the surrounding county park is open (7am-10pm). At this time, the interior of the education center is only scheduled to be open to the public during center events, such as Science Saturdays and Adult Workshops.
