Bring Your Students to an Unforgettable Musical Adventure!
The Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras’ annual Music Memory Concert is a unique opportunity for your students to experience music like never before—up close, interactive, and full of discovery!
Your students will:
🎶 Explore the Orchestra – Learn about the instruments, sections, and the incredible range of sounds they create.
🎶 Enjoy Familiar and New Music – Hear well-known works plus an original piece composed by one of PYSO’s own talented young musicians.
🎶 Engage in Hands-On Fun – Before the concert, musicians will visit your students at their seats to show their instruments, answer questions, and even let them try a cymbal crash or a bass drum hit!
🎶 Be part of the performance – with our paint to music program, students have the opportunity to submit artwork created from the experience of listening to a piece on the program. Selected artwork will then be shown at the performance.
🎶 Be Part of the Action – During the performance, students will participate in interactive activities, learn to conduct, and one lucky student may even conduct the entire orchestra!
What’s Included for Teachers:
✅ Access to classroom activities and supplemental materials aligned with Arizona state education standards.
✅ A program designed to enrich your curriculum and make music come alive for your students.
Led by our Artistic and General Director, this concert is more than a performance—it’s an immersive musical journey. Students will meet the musicians, hear stories behind the music, and experience the thrill of a live symphony orchestra made up of young performers ages 12–18.
Give your students the life-changing gift of music.
