A Community of Giving

The difference between those who change the world and those who don’t is that those who do believe they can. Act One was founded on the belief that all school children should have arts experiences as part of their education. We can and we are changing worldviews by providing field trips to the arts for students in Title 1 schools throughout Arizona. Since our first field trip in 2011, we have taken 200,000 students and chaperones on educational arts field trips!

Act One’s impact is impressive for a young nonprofit. Act One’s ability to take so many children on field trips to the arts is made possible through the generosity of Arizona’s foundations, corporations and philanthropists. The future of Act One belongs to our community of donors who value the arts in education and invest in large-scale access to the arts for disadvantaged students throughout Metro Phoenix and Tucson.
