In-Person Field Trip
A production of Ursula Le Guin’s science fiction novel, THE LEFT HAND OF DARKNESS, adapted to the stage. The story takes place in the future when a young Black man is an envoy to a planet where everyone is androgynous. He learns to deal with a civilization without the binary male/female divisions, and he learns what it means to be an outsider.
We will hold a discussion after the play with all of the ensemble and crew.
