Shakespeare’s Richard III

Students will attend a production of Shakespeare’s Richard III set it a near future American dystopia (think Hunger Games or The Last of Us). The show is a fast paced modern telling of a classic tale of a tyrant’s rise, abuse of power, and eventual downfall. Shakespeare’s language and characters come to life in this new adaptation. After the show, students will have a chance to meet with actors, designers, and tech crew to ask questions and get a behind-the-scenes experience. (show runs 2 hours with a short intermission, backstage experience is 20-30 minutes)
