Musical instruments aren’t just for song and dance—they can tell us stories of musical journeys across the globe throughout human history. As students explore MIM’s five major Geographic Galleries, objects on display reveal their histories as well as the daily lives of people throughout the world.
Length/Mins: 120 minutes
Grade Levels: 3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th,10th,11th,12th
Notes: No more than 150 students max. The number of chaperones is no more than the MIM’s required ratio: one adult (includes teachers) for every five students for Grades PreK-6 and one adult (includes teachers) for every ten students for Grades 7-12.
