Made up of seasoned and highly acclaimed musicians who have entertained fans all over the world, The Sonoran Dogs will treat students to a variety of Bluegrass, Americana and originals with a contemporary flare. Bluegrass music — a truly American musical art form — is a style of American roots music initially inspired from Irish, Scottish, English and Welsh traditional songs and instrumentals by the 18th century Appalachian Settlers. Formed in 2011, The Sonoran Dogs have exploded on the Arizona bluegrass scene and are bringing their intricate, upbeat pickin’ to students.
