“Sonoran Stories” is an exhibit featuring the works of more than two dozen local artists with a theme that pulls from the folk tales, tall tales and ghost stories that are a part of the Southwest, and in particular, the borderlands of southern Arizona. Students will become acquainted with a variety of artistic media – paint, clay, metal, fiber, wood and glass – and will hear some of the stories and how they inspired each artist.
