January 2020
Presented by The Rogue Theatre
The obsessed Captain Ahab assembles a whaling crew to pursue the albino sperm whale, Moby Dick, that took his leg in a prior voyage. Regarded by many as the great American novel, Moby Dick is Homeric, biblical, and Shakespearean in its breadth of expression.
Moby Dick is an exciting adaptation of the Herman Melville novel brought to life on stage by the professional resident company of The Rogue Theatre. The play is performed with music, dance, and drama in an intimate 160-seat theatre. Actors will meet with the students after the performance for questions and answers.
