Three witches prophesy that Macbeth will one day become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, a chain of decisions leads to the murder of a king and betrayals of alliances. Shakespeare’s great study of power and corruption is brought to life by Utah Shakespeare Festival in a special 75-minute adaptation designed for their Shakespeare in the Schools tour.
