“Copper State” is an exhibit featuring the works of more than two dozen local artists with a theme that pays tribute to the mineral that made Arizona famous – copper! Students will become acquainted with a variety of artistic media – paint, clay, metal, fiber, wood and glass – all of which incorporate copper in one form or another, and will learn something about the geology of the state.
