Tour Option #1: Wild Designs: Exploring Elements of Art in Nature

Experience the Garden’s newest art exhibition, Wild Rising by Cracking Art – an installation of more than 1,000 animal sculptures made from colorful and recyclable plastic. Students will investigate lines, shapes, colors, textures and patterns to create nature-inspired art. All field trips designed to meet grade level standards.

Availability: Tours are held on select Tuesdays & Wednesday from October 20, 2019 – February 26, 2020
Max. Group Size: 60 students and 12 chaperones per tour
Grades: K-8
Tour Length: 120 minutes
Tour Start Time: Tours can start anywhere from 9 am – 10 am depending on garden availability. If you have a time preference, please let us know, otherwise the garden will select the start time.

Tour Option #2: Biomimicry: Nature as a Problem Solver Tour

Inspired by nature, student designs, build and test their creative solutions to solve human problems.

Availability: Tours are held on select Tuesdays & Wednesday from October 20, 2019 – February 26, 2020
Max. Group Size: 60 students and 12 chaperones per tour
Grades: 3-8
Tour Length: 135 minutes
Tour Start Time: Tours can start anywhere from 9 am – 10 am depending on garden availability. If you have a time preference, please let us know, otherwise the garden will select the start time.

Additional Information

Lunch Options: Food and drinks are not allowed in the venue. Groups are encouraged to eat lunch at Papago Park.

Parking: Buses will unload and pick up in the Bus Unloading Zone. Remain on the bus until asked to unload by Garden staff.
