Advance the Arts in Education with Act One

Substantial support for Act One comes from institutional drivers of educational enrichment, equity and innovation using the arts. Philanthropic institutions have made significant investments in Act One’s mission through foundation grants and corporate giving programs. Act One also has received funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, Arizona Commission on the Arts and local arts commissions.

Corporate Giving

Act One receives support from Arizona’s leading corporations and community-involved businesses through sponsorships, grants, cause marketing partnerships and employee engagement programs. Corporate grants support Act One’s field trip programs throughout the school year, and corporate sponsorship opportunities are available for 170+ unique field trip experiences, Act One Culture Pass and Act One’s celebration of National Arts in Education Week. Corporations that seek to involve employees in a community giving effort may include Act One in a wide range of programs such as payroll deduction, employer match and nonprofit fairs. Corporations may work with Act One to customize a holiday, back-to-school or other employee giving campaign.

Celebrate National Arts in Education Week with Act One

During National Arts in Education Week, September 9-15, 2018, several businesses partner with Act One to develop cause marketing and fundraising events that we promote to our supporters and the public. Check out all of Act One’s National Arts in Education Week activities!

Foundation Support

Act One and Arizona’s foundations have developed highly effective relationships. The impact has been tremendous, most importantly in the increasing number of children from low income families and educators in Title 1 schools served by our programs. Foundations’ support of Act One benefits arts organizations as well, by expanding the audiences for their education programs and specifically bringing under-served groups to museums and performances.

Public Funding

Act One has been awarded funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, Arizona Commission on the Arts and local arts commissions.
