Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief's Tribute to America's Warriors

Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors brings together 66 full-color portraits and a four-panel mural painted by President George W. Bush of 98 service members and veterans who have served our nation with honor since 9/11. 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of Veterans Day in the United States.

Portraits of Courage ran March 2 through October 17, 2017, at the George W. Bush Presidential Center on the SMU campus in Dallas, Texas, and is now traveling to museums around the country. The  exhibition at the Arizona Heritage Center is supported by the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute.

Availability: Tours are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 23 – December 20, 2018; tours are not available on Nov. 1, Nov. 6 and Nov. 22

Additional Information

Lunch Options: Groups are welcome to stay and eat lunch following their tour. There is an outdoor area as well as a nearby park.
